What is DataAssure membership plan?
DataAssure Membership Plan / Subscription Service provides recovery of data from damaged media to the extent possible** without charging additional sum of money to the customer/subscriber. -
What is included in DataAssure Membership Plan?
a. Free health check of Media (online or offline mode)
b. Free pick up of Media from customer’s location
c.In case pick up is not possible customer is requested to -courier the Media at DataAssure office (courier charges will be credited to customer account which can be used while renewing service subscription for future term)
d. Recovery of data** from damaged media
e. Customer needs to provide permission for opening Media in case under guarantee/warranty from manufacturer (contact 7021758817 for permission template)
f. Customer needs to provide DataAssure new media to copy recovered data or if they want DataAssure to provide new media (hard disk) then they need to pay DataAssure for cost of new media
g. Free delivery of Media with recovered data at customer’s location

What are the conditions for DataAssure membership?
The customer will be registered under the services only after DataAssure team conducts health check of Media and certify the same as eligible for the service contract. -

What is the period covered under DataAssure Membership?
The period covered under this contract is of 12 months starting from contract date. -
What type of Media is covered under this?
Some of the Media types covered under the contract is – Internal Hard Disk, External Hard Disk, USB drives / pen drives, Solid State Drives, RAID servers. -
What is meant by “cooling period”?
For the first time user of services there will be a “cooling period” of 60 (sixty) days from starting date where DataAssure will not provide any data recovery services in case of any mishap. A media Health check will be conducted again at the end of this cooling period and if found Ok media will be covered under this contract for the remaining period of this contract. -
Does “cooling period” also applies to renewal of membership?
In case of renewal of services the “cooling period” clause will not apply and media will be covered from the first day of renewal. -
What are the conditions for membership fees?
Annual subscription fees needs to be paid 100% in advance using any of the payment method suggested by DataAssure on its invoice / website. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. -
Does this plan covers data loss due to ransomware attack?
Media affected by Ransomware attack is specifically excluded under this contract. The same can be covered separately by subscribing to our Special Plan. Customer may also get his Ransomware affected data recovered from DataAssure by paying additional charges.
